The Pinespple Festival 2013 is being held at Amphitheatre of the KL Tower on 31 Aug 2013. our Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who launched the event. at the launch, Ismail Sabri also withnessd the signing of an agreemnet between local company Rompin Intergrated Pineapple Industries Sdn Bhd and Agrofresh Holdings Berhad, for a supply of fresh MD2 pineapples and tropical fruits to China for 10 years.
The contract worth RM300mil is the latgest export of tropical fruits from Malaysia so far in terms of value.
